bloomberg.com: Bono, the social activist and lead singer for Irish rock bank U2, is joining U.S.-based venture capital company Elevation Partners as a managing director, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The 44-year-old singer, whose real name is Paul Hewson, may play a central role if Elevation invests in the music industry, which has posted declining sales worldwide, the paper said. [ more]
