u2.com: We invited some U2.Competition winners, who saw the band live last weekend, to send us their reviews.

Generally, the response was quite warm!

The special collector’s edition of How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb will be released alongside the regular CD on November 23 and will feature the album itself, a DVD with studio footage of the band, and four acoustic tracks, all wrapped up in a 48-page hardcover book. contactmusic.com: U2 star THE EDGE feared his group would split before finishing work on their new album HOW TO DISMANTLE AN ATOMIC BOMB, because BONO could never find the time to join his bandmates in the studio.

The frontman was always jetting off to meet with politicians and world leaders as he urged governments to take world debts more seriously, and his guitarist worried that he might never return to rock. [arrow more]


whnt19.com: U2 lead singer Bono and Georgia Congressman John Lewis have been honored at the National Civil Rights Museum.

It's located at the site of Martin Luther King Junior's assassination in Memphis.

Bono was honored with the international Freedom Award for promoting greater Western involvement in improving medical care and reducing poverty in Africa.
