rte.ie: The world exclusive broadcast of new U2 single 'Vertigo' will take place this Thursday, 23 September, on RTÉ 2fm's Dave Fanning Show.

'Vertigo', which is due to be released on 8 November, is taken from their forthcoming album 'How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb'.

This will be the first chance for all U2 fans to hear the brand new single anywhere in the world. [arrow more]

nme.com: U2 have titled their new album ’How to dismantle an atomic bomb’, nme.com can exclusively reveal.

The title has long been rumoured on various fan websites and forums, but nme.com has today (September 13) been given official confirmation from the band. [arrow more]

A cover of the German group’s ‘Neon Lights’ will feature on the single ‘Vertigo’, which is out on November 8.

u2.com: After months of rumours and speculation, Warner U2.Com can exclusively reveal that the band’s new single is called Vertigo and will be released on November 8th.

Vertigo, an epic U2 track with big guitars and soaring vocals, was produced by Steve Lillywhite at the band’s Hanover Quay Studio in Dublin.

The formats for the new single are as follows:

u2.com: Stop Press! First confirmed information on song titles from the new album. U2.Com can exclusively reveal that completed tracks from the upcoming album include:

  • Vertigo,
  • Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own,
  • City of Blinding Lights,
  • A Man and A Woman,
  • Yahweh
  • Crumbs From Your Table.
