wuv.de: Der schleswig-holsteinische Sender delta radio will mit einem ungewöhnliche Event in Hamburg für Aufsehen sorgen. Am Nachmittag des 19. November fährt auf der Strecke der U-Bahnlinie U2 ein im Outfit des Senders gebrandeter Zug, der mit einer leistungsstarken Soundanlage ausgerüstet ist. Die Insassen können dort – drei Tage vor dem offziellen Verkaufsstart – die Songs des neuen Albums der Popgruppe U2 lauschen. Nach Senderangaben kommen mehr als hundert Fans in diesen Genuss, die Tickets für die Aktion "U2 in der U2" werden auf dem Sender verlost. [arrow more]


belfasttelegraph.co.uk: Fans of U2 are expected to mob the band's Dublin studios next week, hoping to catch a glimpse of their idols as they play an exclusive radio gig just days before their album hits the shops.

U2 will perform for BBC Radio 1 from their Hannover Quay studios, where the eagerly awaited 'How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb' was created. The gig is going out live on the Zane Lowe show on Tuesday between 7pm and 9pm. [arrow more]

billboard.com: Look for U2 to start its world tour on March 1 in Florida in support of its new Interscope album, "How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb," the band's manager Paul McGuinness tells Billboard.
