u2.com: The new album has gone straight in at No.1 in Ireland.

‘How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb’ was released first in Ireland a week ago – and goes straight in at No.1 today, outselling any other releases by five to one, according to reports. [arrow more]


rte.ie: Sales of U2's new album 'How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb' are soaring, according to Irish music retailers.

The album, which has been shipped five times platinum, is reported to be outselling its nearest rival Britney Spears' 'Greatest Hits: My Prerogative' at a rate of five to one.

In addition to the regular audio CD, the set will boast a DVD with footage of U2 in the studio plus four as-yet-unnamed acoustic songs. The discs will be housed in a 48-page hard-bound book and carry a suggested price of $39.98. [arrow more]
