rte.ie: Sales of U2's new album 'How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb' are soaring, according to Irish music retailers.
The album, which has been shipped five times platinum, is reported to be outselling its nearest rival Britney Spears' 'Greatest Hits: My Prerogative' at a rate of five to one.

zaman.com: In Turkey, the album will not be available for some time as their record label, Universal, has closed their office in Turkey and they have no distribution in the country. A source in the music industry, who did not want to be named, suggested that fans look for a pirate copy of the album. [ more]

Nothing seemed beyond their reach - songs tackling politics, spiritual hope, abandonment, love and terror. billboard.com: U2's upcoming album, "How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb," will be available as a special collector's edition when it is released Nov. 23 by Interscope. In addition to the regular audio CD, the set will boast a DVD with footage of U2 in the studio plus four as-yet-unnamed acoustic songs. The discs will be housed in a 48-page hard-bound book and carry a suggested price of $39.98. [ more]
